The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart –  Helen Keller

Writing for me is a bit of a release, a bit cathartic and don’t we all need some of that in our lives? Thanks so much for stopping by and I do hope you find something you enjoy.

 My Stories

Lips of An Angel

Years after being forced apart, a longing phone call between Sookie and Eric sets Freyda’s ultimate plans in motion. What will the consequences be? Will they be able to make it out alive? Will they be able to make it out together?

Set years after Dead Ever After but written after Dead Reckoning so the events that happened in the last books won’t happen or will be a bit different in this story. Specifically, what was learned about the contract between Eric and Freyda in the last book won’t be in this story. The arrangement between them in this tale is different.

Amnesia Trilogy

Banner created by Gyllene. Many thanks to her!

Amnesia

Story Quote – I have never been claustrophobic. I had a feeling I wouldn’t be saying that again for a while. I also haven’t been afraid of the dark even though I know more than most of what can be found in the dark. Yet another fear I would probably end up developing. Something about being trapped in a dark car trunk for hours would probably do that to some people.

This story starts in Club Dead and is the first in a trilogy. The characters have different reactions to what happened in the car trunk and it causes changes with other canon plot points.

Gyllene was kind enough to use her talents to create a banner for me and one for The Amnesia Trilogy. Many, many thanks to her!

My Wish Banner

My Wish

This story is set soon after Dead and Gone. Sookie, Eric and friends are still trying to deal with the aftermath of the Fae War and the takeover of Louisiana. When waitressing one night, Sookie  is having a discussion with a customer and makes a wish, not understanding the repercussions of doing so. Told mostly from Eric’s POV we will see just how her wish affect everything else that is going on? Will Eric help her with the consequences? Will they all survive?

Teeny, tiny Buffy crossover here. I may have borrowed a character or two.  They belong to Joss Whedon. Any others belong to Charlaine Harris.

My Heart is Open Story Banner-5-2

My Heart is Open

Story Summary – This one starts after Sookie is shot in Dead as a Doornail. It’s a few weeks after Eric was cursed but there is a little twist in his curse. This twist will of course have added consequences for Sookie to deal with as she is already navigating the complicated situation of dealing with the aftermath of the curse, among other things. How will she handle things and just whose help will she have?

The timeline and events for this tale are a tad different than what happened in the books. Everything should be explained in the story but feel free to ask questions if needed.

Many thanks for MsBuffy as she dares to help me with yet another tale. And much thanks to Gyllene who made this (and a few others you may see) banner for this one. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Classic love story. Girl meets boy. Girl and boy fall in love. Girl and boy find are addicted to drugs until…Girl finds a reason to get out. What happens to boy?

Okay, so maybe not the most classic love story. A very different Sookie and a very different Eric in this one. They are still the characters we know and love but those characters are buried under quite a lot of stuff. The question is will they be able to get get over the hurdles to get back to the themselves…and each other. This is a tale that chronicles their journey on this path.

I do hope you will enjoy!
This story would not be the same without my friend MsBuffy and all her fabulous help! Thanks a bunch!
This story now has two marvelous banners made my Gyllene. I love them both and couldn’t decide. Many, many thanks to her for her gorgeous work.

      1. Well, I said tomorrow but I meant Sunday lol. I’ve been a day ahead this whole week. It’s been driving me crazy. So barring complications posting of My Wish, will start tomorrow, really Sunday lol.

Now worries and thanks for the wishes. It was a good one and I haven’t been able to say that in years. Here’s to hoping that’s a new trend.

Hope all is well with you!

            1. It’s strange. I haven’t ‘officially’ been offered a job out there, but they continue to tell me they want me to move. I’m hoping to get a promotion in the plant where I am now and go from there. I should know about that within the next several weeks. I know I don’t want to move in the very near future. So, we’ll see what happens.

    1. You found them! And I didn’t even write a post for them yet lol. I have been noticing that with some other stories I’ve been reading too. I will do my best to try and see if I can figure out what the issue is.

    2. I think I have it all figured out. Give me a few minutes and they should all be fixed. I don’t know why all of a sudden the default setting is to not allow comments. Odd.

    1. Thank you so much. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the birthday wishes. It means so much that you remembered. Playing it safe and no cake and candles tonight – not until I have adult supervision lol.

PS – you may just be getting the next chapter tomorrow.

      Love you.
